This information is primarily intended for designated Precinct Caucus Conveners but is available to all registered users of sd45.org for reference.

The following is a list of items that WILL be in your Caucus Night Convener Packet

Signage, including signs identifying your Precinct and the QR Code/URL for the Caucus Night Webpage, will be placed in rooms in advance. You are VERY welcome to arrive any time after 5:00 PM to assist with this site preparation effort.

The following provides further detail for reference by Caucus Conveners

  • Copies of the Republican Party of Minnesota's Caucus Promotion Handbook will not be provided on caucus night.  That document relates to pre-caucus activities for the BPOU to complete.
  • SD45 is not requiring any separate Caucus Registration Form.
    • SD45 has combined all necessary information from the State Party's proposed "one-page" registration form into the sign-in sheet.
    • All Caucus attendees will receive a separate "thank you for attending" follow-up email/text (depending on information provided) inquiring about the typical items, including volunteering and interest in serving as an election judge.  This saves on data entry AND provides a consistent first point of contact following Caucuses.
  • SAMPLE SD45 Sign-In Sheet (private PDF)
    • Final set of LARGE (11"x17") physical sign-in sheets will be provided to you in hard copy on Caucus Night.
    • Will have information for RSVP'd attendees and absentee nominations filled in.
    • Every one present in the room (other than distinguished guests), i.e., Delegates, Alternates, AND Observers will complete THIS form and ONLY this form.
    • Attendees at SD45 Precinct Caucuses will not need to complete ANY OTHER registration "form."
    • Everything a Caucus Secretary needs to complete is on the top of the first page of the Sign-In Sheet.
    • The Permanent Caucus Chair and Secretary should sign the first page of the Sign-In Sheet.
  • Caucus Delegate Absentee Nomination Form (public link and PDF)
    • For reference only, you will only need to collect these on Caucus Night.
    • Absentee nominations can be made ONLY:
  • Physical Precinct Map (hard copy only)
    • A LARGE (11"x17") laminated map of your precinct will be provided on Caucus Night.
    • You can preview your map on the Caucus Call webpage.
  • Precinct Caucus Rooms List (hard copy only)
    • A list of all Caucus rooms will be provided on Caucus Night.
    • Plan to use this in case anyone is in the wrong room!
  • SD45 Political Contribution Refund (PCR) Information Page (public link)
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • We encourage everyone to complete the form electronically for maximum readability upon submission.  But we expect to have limited printed copies of the 2026 Political Contribution Refund Form in a central location (PDF)
  • Contribution Envelope (hard copy only)
    • You will be provided with a labelled envelope into which you should place ALL contributions.
  • Governor Preference Poll Ballots
    • The party is providing a list of candidates and we expect to provide pre-printed ballots to expedite tabulation of poll results. The form of ballot will include options "undecided" and for write-in candidates.
    • A separate paper poll report and envelope will be provided.
  • Blank Paper for Ballots
    • SD45 intends to source blank paper for ballots. You may want to bring pens, though we will aim to have those too.
  • Link to BPOU Convention Call/Receipt/Save the Date
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • The details of the BPOU Convention will be addressed in the script and available on the main page of the sd45.org website.
    • All elected delegates and alternates will receive the convention call via electronic means with a phone call follow-up.
    • It is more important that we have an open line of communication with delegates and alternates for the duration of their two-year terms than forcing a "valid" call by providing a piece of paper that people often ignore.
    • Provided resources are available, a physical call may be dispatched via mail for those who prefer it.
  • Resolution Form (PDF)
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • We encourage anyone with a resolution to present to prepare it in advance of the Caucus.
    • A limited number of copies will be available at a central location.
    • Conveners who want to go "above and beyond" are welcome to print extra copies to have at their respective Caucus.
  • Republican Party of Minnesota Standing Platform (PDF)
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • We encourage anyone with a resolution to present to prepare it in advance of the Caucus.
    • A limited number of copies will be available at a central location.
    • Conveners who want to go "above and beyond" are welcome to print extra copies to have at their respective Caucus.
  • Letters/Materials from Candidates (public link and hard copy)
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • Candidates may provide physical materials to you on Caucus night and you are encouraged to make them available and/or read them as requested.
    • We are encouraging candidates to provide their materials for posting on our website in a central location that will be announced on Caucus Night.
  • Delegate Allocations 
    • There will be no paper copies in your packet.
    • This information will be integrated into your script and sign-in sheet.
    • This information is also available now via the Official Caucus Call webpage (public link).
  • SD45 Election Judge Information Page (public link only)
    • This information is both changing rapidly AND specific to certain person's municipality.  Printing a form does not provide a dependable means of registering a person for serving as an election judge.  A follow-up email to all attendees will contain a link.
  • Turn-In Instructions (hard copy)
    • Instructions regarding what you should sign and deliver to the central desk will be included at the very end of your packet.
