Available Experiences

Everyone will enjoy heavy appetizers and all that Schram Vineyards has to offer, including an indoor tasting room, outdoor pavilion, gazebos and bocce courts.  We are hosting various non-candidate speakers and current and former candidates and state party officers are expected to attend. Stay tuned on further details as availability is confirmed.

Wine Tasting Taste a variety of Schram's award-winning wines at various wine-tasting stations throughout the winery.  Lean more about locally-grown grapes and different wine making styles. Reds, whites, roses, and sparklings will be available for tasting. A full selection of Schram Vineyards wines and beers will be available for purchase by the glass. Each "Wine" Premium Ticket will guarantee the holder to a single round of wine tasting.

Beer Flight  Beer flights are available on a limited basis and interested persons are encouraged to purchase tickets as soon as possible to ensure availability. A full selection of Schram Vineyards wines and beers will be available for purchase by the glass. Each "Beer" Premium Ticket will guarantee the holder to a single flight of beer tasting.

Non-Alcoholic Options

Water and additional non-alcoholic beverages will be available to all at no additional cost.

About the Venue

Schram Vineyards is a full production working farm winery and tasting room, dedicated to creating memorable experiences for its guests through award-winning wine and beer, commitment to unique offerings, and great service. We hope you enjoy the amenities the event will provide in their rustic chic atmosphere. Special thanks are in order for the Vineyard for agreeing to open their space to us on a day they are normally closed!

Pricing

You may have noticed that we have an unbelievably economic "General Admission" ticket option this year. We want you to meet your neighbors more than anything else.  While additional contributions are always welcome, we wanted to make sure as many of us as possible can attend.  Bring your family.  Designate a driver. Whatever, the reason. Please help us make this event a roaring success and "vote with your feet" by purchasing tickets if you want us to have this option for future events.

Support YOUR OWN Senate District through THIS Event

If you don't live in Minnesota's Senate District 45, that's OK. We still like you and you're still welcome to attend.

Spoiler alert - we're NOT Democrats.  We know you want YOUR MONEY to benefit YOUR OWN basic political operating unit (aka, your Senate District). We intend for your contact information and the balance of each ticket in excess of event expenses to go to your Senate District committee, even if it's not us.  Feel free to contact your BPOU leadership to confirm appropriate arrangements are in place.  If they don't know about this arrangement, then tell them to reach out to us asap so we can get them set up.

Q: Does it matter if I wait until the last minute to get tickets?

A: Yes! We have catering and staffing commitments to lock in days in advance and we would very much appreciate your purchasing tickets asap. Tickets purchased on the day of the event (even standing at the door) will be honored so long as capacity remains, but please bear with us if the list was printed before you drove up and we have to look up your purchase.

Q: Does the "cheap" ticket include access to alcoholic beverages?

A: Yes! A full selection of Schram Vineyards wines and beers will be available for purchase by the glass. Water and additional non-alcoholic beverages will be available to all.

Q: It says that one or more of the premium tickets I have selected are no longer available.

A: We are limited in capacity for wine tastings and beer flights. Once the maximum number of guaranteed wine tastings or beer flights has been reserved, we can no longer guarantee them.  Please select another ticket type and note that a full selection of Schram Vineyards wines and beers will be available for purchase by the glass.

Q: What time does the event start?

A: The event starts at 5:00 PM. Yes, an early save the date email said 5:30PM, and we'll hold off any major announcements or speakers until then.

Q: Do we need any proof of purchase?

A: No, we'll have a list identifying all ticket holders at the entrance. If you purchased your tickets on the day of the event, you may want to have your confirmation email ready just in case, but we can look you up no matter what.

Q: What do I wear?

A: The event is casual. Please dress appropriately for your own comfort given the warm weather. That said, you're likely to meet serving politicians and party leaders and that certain U.S. Senator's slob chic can be tough to pull off without the mainstream media blindly in your corner.

Q: This is Minnesota and it is hot. Will I melt?

A: We certainly hope not! Schram Vineyards has shade and indoor space and we'll make sure everyone has plenty of opportunity to stay hydrated!

Additional Information

Neither we nor the venue can guarantee weather conditions. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule prior to the event if adverse weather conditions are imminent, or if we have reason believe any of the attendees may be in danger. The event will continue under sheltered space in the event rain, but space may be subject to capacity limits will be made available on a first-come first-served basis subject to early departures of attendees. 

Notifications will be made via email to all ticket holders. The same means will be used if additional messaging is required to inform participants of any significant changes to the announced event plan. On premise personnel will verbally notify participant if we have to suspend, cancel or end the event early.

All ticket sales are in the form of a contribution and are non-refundable. Arrangements to transfer ticket price balance to other BPOUs remains subject to applicable law and regulation. If the event is rescheduled and we are able to transfer all expenses we intend to honor prior event tickets. If that is not possible, we will do our best within administrative capacity to make special accommodations to holders of tickets from any prior canceled event.

Neither this site nor purchase of any tickets to the event implies an intent to offer or serve alcohol to persons under the age of 21. SD45 Republicans and the venue will make every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to or served to anyone who is under the age of 21.
