All voters in Senate District 45 may have any of the following races on their primary election ballot:
- Governor & Lieutenant Governor
- MN Attorney General
- MN Secretary of State
- MN State Auditor
- U.S. Senator
- U.S. Representative (Congressional District 3)
- State Senator (Senate District 45)
- State Representative (House District 45A or 45B)
- Judicial seats
Voters may also have one or more of these races on their ballot:
- City Officers
- School Board Members
- Township Officers
- Local ballot questions
