The SCC is body charged with the general management of the affairs of the Republican Party of Minnesota, subject to the control of State Conventions. It current meets at least semi-annually and the Senate District 45 Republicans currently has authority to elect five (5) delegates and fifteen (15) alternates.

It benefits our BPOU to have as many SCC alternates as possible to maximize the possibility of (a) filling all 5 of our seats and (b) taking advantage of any cross-seating opportunities to fill other vacant seats within the Third Congressional District's delegation.
