The latest political lawn sign season in Minnesota officially began on June 28, 2024, all lawn signs should be removed on or before November 15, 2024.

Sign Regulations

Signs should not be posted on publicly land. On private land, signs must have the approval of the underlying property owner and they should not be posted on fences, trees, shrubs, or public utility poles.

Note: Campaigning near or within a Polling Place

Generally, campaigning (including campaign signs) is not allowed inside the polling place or within 100 feet of a building in which a polling place is open for voting.
